Enabling innovation at scale

Based on the HBR Article, 'How to kill creativity'.

I love the article for the fact that it puts the focus exactly where the innovation efforts fail. Not with the innovators but with the managers of the innovators.

I can vouch for its effectiveness from personal experience, when I was CTO at HP. We enabled filing of 184 patents in one year, up from 7 the previous year. Some of the things we did right, are mentioned here.
