Make your communication simpler - by revising it again and again

I have always had a problem with my choice of words. I make things complicated and difficult.

Living in the corporate world, has taught me to use words that couch reality and spin it to make it look good.

Just like blatant untruths become, 'alternate facts' the same way, 'taking a bribe' becomes 'stimulation of the economy'.

To get a good idea and then to shame it by framing it in language that defeats its impact on the situation is not good.

It is good to impact with images and stories, but it is even more important to keep the message simple.

I have found that it is difficult to keep the message simple in the first pass. If I am willing to revisit it, especially after some gap, then it is easier to simplify it.
